COVID-19 Testing Trailer & Urgent Care Facility to Open Soon at Montgomery Shopping Center

Central Jersey Urgent Care recently applied for a tenant fit-out permit to open an urgent care facility in the Montgomery Shopping Center, where the Tuesday Morning store was located next to Walgreens.


Central Jersey Urgent Care also submitted a permit for a temporary medical trailer to be installed in the parking lot near the Montgomery Cinema for Covid-19 mobile testing by appointment only. The medical trailer will be removed when the certificate of occupancy is issued for the urgent care facility, according to Montgomery Township Zoning Officer Joseph Palmer.

The permit was submitted in mid-January and is now being reviewed by the Montgomery Township Code Enforcement department, Palmer says.


Dually branded as Central Jersey Urgent Care and My InstaDoc Urgent Care, the organization is based in Neptune, just outside of Asbury Park. Central Jersey Urgent Care operates walk-in medical facilities in Somerset, Green Brook Township, Eatontown, Browns Mills, and Ocean Township. They are affiliated with My InstaDocUrgent Care, which operates offices in Howell, Marlboro, and Monroe that are open seven days a week, 365 days a year.


"You hear that everyone should get tested for COVID-19, and there are so many different testing sites - each offering different things. Central Jersey Urgent Care and My InstaDoc Urgent Care alone have done 15,493 tests over the past two months," according to the Central Jersey Urgent Care website.
