Lewis brings the benefits of evidence-based, educational neuroscience to every classroom. Master Teachers instruct students how to harness effective learning, replacing passive memorization with multisensory strategies that tap the many senses and capacities of the brain. Morning academics emphasize fundamental, accelerated and advanced levels of instruction, study skills, and critical thinking. Afternoon options are ideal for artistic, athletic and STEM/STEAM oriented students.  Speech programs offer hands-on learning experiences to build functional communication skills through multisensory, multimodality instruction.  The Lewis School's SAT, ACT and college application PREP program is second to none.  NJAIS, NAIS accredited. In one week, July 8 - 12, the camp will put together a musical production and perform it on Friday night. It’s all about singing, choreography, and acting. Sometimes fears and anxiety can make us feel like the sky is falling! In “O Chicken of Little Faith”, Faith takes a nap after a busy day, and dreams she has fallen asleep for the night and forgotten to lock the chickens safely in their coop. In a panic she finds the now human-sized chickens celebrating their freedom. She discovers she must face fears, expectations and the unknown in exaggerated “dream versions” of things she is facing in real life. There is an unending stream of chicken jokes and puns as Faith learns to trust God no matter the circumstances. This musical is going to be so much fun!!!
