There are many businesses in town and almost just as many Help Wanted signs, postings, and ads on job sites like Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and ZipRecruiter; and employers pay upwards of $200 and more a week to boost a job post on a job site in hopes of finding a qualified candidate to hire. Expenses like this can quickly add up, especially for a small business, and that’s where the new Montgomery-area Job Marketplace comes in.

The Montgomery News leverages its extensive community reach to help area businesses grow by launching its Montgomery-area Job Marketplace.

The Montgomery News Job Marketplace delivers a new avenue for area businesses to quickly promote their job openings to the community and beyond. It makes it easier to have their job opportunities shared with friends, family, neighbors and colleagues of all our readers whether they are reading our online posts, our digital paper, our e-newsletter or our newspaper. It also enables local businesses to inexpensively extend their candidate search near and far.

The Montgomery News is mailed to every home in Belle Mead, Blawenburg, Harlingen, Skillman, and Griggstown; along with homes in parts of Princeton, Hopewell Borough, Kingston and Hillsborough.

The Montgomery News is mailed first class to 15,000 homes each month, plus, an additional 2,000 copies are delivered to key locations around town. Your ad will also be seen online at TheMontgomeryNews.com, which has more than 40,000 site visits per week, and on social media, (more than 6,000 followers on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn). The weekly Montgomery News Newsletter is emailed every Thursday to thousands more each week, and passed around at schools and campuses alike. Local businesses can be assured a job opening is getting the attention it deserves.

Job postings may be for full-time, part-time, seasonal, salary, hourly or volunteer from a business that operates in any of the above towns The Montgomery News serves. The Montgomery News reserves the right to reject any ad it deems inappropriate.

Job ads placed for September and October will run FREE of charge for a $25 ad.

Afterwards, for $25 a month, a business can post a job opening of 25 words or less that will run in one issue of the print newspaper and will be posted online in the digital newspaper. A business can include their logo in the job ad for an extra $25 a month and expand their ad for $1 per word that’s over 25 words. All current Montgomery News advertisers and members of the Montgomery Business Association (MBA) are eligible to receive a $25 job ad space free of charge.

If you have a job opening that needs to be filled, e-mail advertising@themontynews.com to receive information on how to submit your job listing. Take advantage of the targeted reach The Montgomery News has to offer. Let the community know about the great opportunities you have available.

As we all shop locally and area businesses thrive and grow, so does the vibrant community atmosphere and the real estate values of homeowners and commercial property owners.

The Montgomery News looks forward to the Job Marketplace helping the community prosper.
