A man from Milwaukee crashed his motorcycle into an SUV with a trailer on Route 518 at Hollow Road in Montgomery on October 1 at about 5 pm. The man and his passenger were thrown from the bike, and transported to the hospital with injuries.
Montgomery police identified the motorcycle driver as Garrett Breit, 34, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Police determined that Breit attempted to pass the SUV and trailer on the right, just as the SUV driver began to make a right turn onto Hollow Road. The motorcycle collided with the passenger side door of the SUV.
An off-duty Montgomery police officer assisted to those injured until Montgomery EMS arrived. Two individuals that were on the motorcycle were transported to RWJ University Hospital by Montgomery EMS.
The police issued multiple motor citations to Breit, who is due to appear in Montgomery Municipal Court.
