The Montgomery News Pet of the Month.

Zebulon

I was named after the conqueror of Pike’s Peak, Zebulon Pike, because of my adventurous spirit and my many toes! I was rescued as a teeny tiny feral kitten in Belle Mead, and adopted along with my two sisters through SAVE in Skillman. Now 4, I rule the roost as the only male in a house full of female kitties. — Lonna Buinis, David Kowalski, Montgomery

Mr. Yuley

I’m a friendly, one-year-old boy with lots of energy and curiosity. I was adopted just before Christmas. In this photo, I’m looking down the laundry chute. Sometimes I like to jump into the chute and have to be rescued. I always say “hello” when I greet people and love all kinds of cat toys and my yarn.

— Jane Hostetter, Hopewell

Mr. Baby

My legal name is Avocat, but you can call me Mr. Baby. I got that name because even though I’m approaching 7, I still have the energy, cuddle drive, and vocalizations of a kitten. My best talent is being able to go outside without a leash and responsibly stay within a reasonable distance from home.

— Eton Victor, Belle Mead
