The Montgomery News | October 16, 2026

A new business, oasisVRX, is opening its second location at Princeton North Shopping Center, 1225 Route 206 in Skillman on Saturday at noon. Friends, corporate groups, families, and gamers will have the opportunity to step inside the 3D digital world using a head-mounted display and motion controllers.

Building on eight years of experience operating its original location in Holmdel, oasisVRX brings a larger, next-generation entertainment experience to the Princeton and greater central New Jersey market.

The new location features over 30 immersive VR and motion experiences, including multiplayer free-roam VR arenas, motion and racing simulators, personal VR stations, and interactive experiences for guests of different ages and experience levels.

Unlike a traditional arcade, oasisVRX is centered around active entertainment, with experiences that get guests moving, interacting, and participating instead of just watching a screen. Guests can step into a variety of multiplayer virtual worlds with friends and family, race each other in motion simulators, or explore individual VR experiences.

“OasisVRX is about much more than putting on a VR headset,” said Todd Schobel, founder of oasisVRX. “We’ve spent eight years learning what makes location-based immersive entertainment really work. People want to laugh, compete, move around, and experience something they can’t recreate at home. The Princeton/ Montgomery Township location area gives us the opportunity to take what we’ve learned in Holmdel and build an even bigger experience around that idea.”

OasisVRX accommodates birthday parties, family outings, school and youth groups, corporate events, client entertainment, and larger group celebrations.

COO, Andrew Litt said, “We believe there is a significant opportunity in active entertainment. Technology continues to improve, but what really matters is what happens when people experience it together. Our goal is to create destinations where families, friends, coworkers, and groups can walk in and have an experience they’ll be talking about

afterward.”
