Princeton police announced today the arrest of a Skillman resident for allegedly robbing the TD Bank at gunpoint at the Route 206/Princeton Avenue intersection back in July.
Following an extensive investigation led by Princeton Detective Daniel Chitren, the suspect was identified as 37-year-old Ciara Brascom from the Skillman section of Montgomery Township. She lived within walking distance to the bank.

With assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Brascom was arrested by Det. Chitren and Ptl. Melody Van Ness on September 24 in Montgomery Township. Brascom faces multiple charges, including:
Robbery
Criminal Restraint
Possession of a weapon for Unlawful Purposes
Unlawful Possession of a Weapon
Terroristic Threats
Theft
Money Laundering
Aggravated Assault
Brascom was processed at the Princeton Police Department and is currently being held at the Mercer County Correction Center.
The robbery took place on Sunday, July 28, 2024. The Princeton Police Department responded to a panic alarm at TD Bank, located at 883 State Road. Shortly after, a bank teller called 911 to report a robbery in progress.
The investigation revealed that the suspect entered the bank at 1:56 p.m., approached the teller counter, and displayed a black semi-automatic handgun while handing the teller a note demanding money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene, last seen walking south on Route 206 near the Exxon Gas Station at 870 State Road.
