The income-restricted Apartments at Montgomery Crossing have not started marketing yet, but, already, there is a waiting list, according to the operator at the leasing company.
The Montgomery News could not find a source who would comment regarding how tenants would be selected, or who exactly would do the selecting — but did find a phone number and a website folks can use to apply. (See below.)

Montgomery Township's 86-unit low rent apartment building located off Village Road, close to the intersection of routes 206 and 518.
February is the target opening date for the building, which will have 86 apartments — including two-story apartments on the first two floors and elevator-serviced stacked flats on the third and fourth floors.

Five supportive-housing apartments will be set aside for homeless residents, referred by the Somerset County Continuum of Care. Services for supportive-housing residents will be designed to allow residents to remain self-sufficient.
The building will offer 17 one-bedroom apartments, 47 two-bedroom apartments, and 22 three-bedroom apartments. Apartment features will include open floor plans, modern kitchens with Energy-Star appliances, and balconies. There will also be a fitness center in the building, an outside play area for children, and a dog walk area.
The building borders single-family residential neighborhoods to the south and north, and is walkable to shopping centers, medical facilities, and public transportation.
The leasing number for the Apartments at Montgomery Crossing is 908.308.4040. Applicants must call the number and ask for an application to be emailed to them. Learn more at mxapartments.com. ■
