The Montgomery Township School Board voted 7 to 2 in favor of a budget that includes a tax levy increase of 6.37% for the 2026-27 school year. Even with this tax increase, the district still will have to cut $4.4 million districtwide through position reductions, facilities upgrades, services, and supplies.
