Mark G. Hogan of Skillman, NJ died unexpectedly on July 4, 2025. He was only 61.

His loving wife, Sally, and two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Ella, are devastated by his sudden passing.

Mark loved life and was devoted to his family and many lifelong friends. His warm personality and quick wit brought smiles and laughter to everyone he met. The room was always brighter when Mark was in it. Mark had a full and happy life, with a successful career in finance and a variety of hobbies. He graduated from Villanova University with a bachelor's degree in business administration and earned an MBA from Rutgers University.

He worked at Merrill Lynch, TD Bank, and most recently, JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Passionate about sports, Mark especially enjoyed following college basketball, the Villanova Wildcats and the Nova Knicks. In 2018, he took the family to the Final Four Tournament in San Antonio where they watched the Wildcats win the National Championship. Go Cats!

Mark loved golf. From shooting a hole-in-one to scoring a 78, his love for golf started as a young boy. When he wasn’t working or spending time with family, you could find him on the golf course.

Traveling was another passion that Mark shared with his family. Their memorable vacations included European cruises and trips to Portugal, the Middle East, Russia, and Germany; and summer weeks on Long Beach Island. The family also enjoyed weekends in New York City for Broadway shows. Mark especially liked "Hamilton" and could sing all the lyrics along with his daughters.

Mark was the best "girl dad." He attended every dance recital, cross country meet, and lacrosse game. Around the house, Mark always found ways to make his daughters laugh, including dancing and singing silly songs, and he never ran out of "dad" jokes created just for them. Cooking amazing breakfasts on weekends and holidays was another one of his specialties, and bacon was always on the menu. He brightened their lives in so many ways.

Mark is survived by his immediate family; father, Francis; brothers, Richard and Robert; sister, Martha; and in-laws, Farouk and Naila Dablan. Mark was predeceased by his mother, Marilyn, who also was a big Villanova basketball fan.

Mark, we will miss your fun-loving spirit and forever hold you close in our hearts. We love you and will miss you so much everyday.

Visitation and the Funeral Mass were held on July 11 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Princeton. The burial took place at Princeton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please honor Mark by taking a moment to hug your loved ones.
