Montgomery Police were busy in the last 30 days — arresting three individuals who had fallen asleep in unrelated incidents on township roadways. Two were found along Route 518 and one on Great Road. Police also issued multiple DUIs and reported car and home burglaries, and an incident of mail theft.

Wrestling Program Founder John T. Moyle of Montgomery Township, NJ, died on August 20, 2025. He was  62. 

After a public outcry, Montgomery Township’s elected leaders presented a new affordable housing option at the last town hall meeting on August 11. Montgomery Township Committee and Planning Board held an Affordable Housing Town Hall Monday night at the municipal center. Mayor Neena Singh said, "New options were developed in response to public feedback. Among the new options are additional extensions on expiring deed restrictions on existing affordable units so we can further reduce the total number of new units constructed." Meanwhile, two community groups are gearing up to challenge the township's plan.

Four newcomers and two incumbents have filed to run for the Montgomery Board of Education, which also represents the independent little town of Rocky Hill Borough.
