By Barbara A. Preston | Posted July 13, 2023

Montgomery police and EMS responded to Route 206 near Aja Cuisine for a head-on crash involving three vehicles on July 9, at 5:30 pm.

The three vehicles involved in the crash were disabled in the middle of the state highway, impeding traffic. Montgomery police officers rendered aid to those injured until Montgomery EMS arrived and transported the occupants of the vehicles to RWJ Somerset and to the RWJ New Brunswick trauma center.

The crash occurred on Route 206 (State Road) by Aja Cuisine.

An investigation determined that Sean Lebron, 20, of Hillsborough was driving a Hyundai Elantra south on Route 206. When he attempted to pass one of the involved vehicles, he lost control and struck the vehicle, which caused it to go into the northbound lane of travel and strike a northbound traveling vehicle head on.

Police issued multiple motor vehicle citations to Lebron, who is due to appear in Montgomery Twp. Municipal Court for the violations. The citations included: Driving without a license; Careless driving; Failure to exhibit documents; and Failure to maintain lane. Traffic was restored to the roadway after all involved vehicles were towed and patrols cleared at approximately 7:30 pm.

The victims names were withheld by police, and it is unknown whether they remain in the hospitals.
