For nearly three decades, Morpeth Contemporary has been a beacon of fine art in the greater Princeton area and beyond, representing both emerging and mid-career artists. Nestled among charming retail storefronts of antiques, crafts, and restaurants, Morpeth Contemporary stands apart as a destination for serious art lovers.

Gallery owner Ruth Morpeth has successfully guided the gallery, “I am constantly looking for solutions to improve the experience of buying and selling art,” she says. “Adaptability is essential in this ever-changing market.”

About Don Campbell

Don Campbell’s journey as a sculptor began in high school, where his early works hinted at a lifelong calling. Yet, wary of the “starving artist” stereotype, he initially pursued a career in graphic design. Over the next 20 years, Campbell built a thriving creative career as an art director and founder of DJ Campbell Advertising & Marketing.

Eventually, he returned to his first passion: sculpture. His book, Creativity, It’s Not What You Think, chronicles this journey and his unique approach to the creative process, drawing inspiration from Otto Scharmer’s Theory U. Campbell’s sculptures invite viewers to enter unfinished narratives—timeless figures that, though still, pulse with life and story.

“For me, art is a catalyst for expansion, growth, and a profound realization of our interconnectedness with all things. My sculptures emerge from a place of joy and connection to the vast sea of endless potential, where judgment and fear fall away and true freedom begins.”
