A Somerset County official confirmed that police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred in the Belle Mead section of Montgomery Township on June 16.

Montgomery Township, NJ, volunteer firefighters drove one of its excess fire trucks to Tennessee and provided hands-on training to Erwin’s crew for two days. Erwin Fire Chief Jason Harris told The Montgomery News about the harrowing scenes of the floodwaters rising faster than anyone could anticipate.

The Montgomery Promenade, the 292,700-square-foot center on Route 206 in Skillman, NJ, just north of Princeton, is expected to open Phase 1 in late 2025. Whole Foods is anticipated to open in 2026.

The star of truTV’s hit show Impractical Jokers — James “Murr” Murray — and his wife Melyssa purchased a five-bedroom home on a two-acre lot in Rocky Hill for about $1.3 million in April. It's regular home, however, it gets about 1,000 visitors a year, has an extensive model railroad setup in the basement, and is home to a 30-member non-profit club that wants to keep their masterpiece intact, but could not afford to purchase the property.

Party Fair, the discount party supply and rental store, plans to open a shop this summer in the Montgomery Shopping Center in Skillman on Route 206, next to ShopRite.

Michel “Mike” Martin of Skillman is a pharmaceutical executive and current member of the Montgomery Township Committee — the five-member governing body elected to lead the township. He is one of four candidates running in the June Primary Election for two slots on Democratic Party ballot in the November general election.
