In an ongoing effort to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff in our local schools,  the Montgomery Township Police Department and the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office announced a collaborative initiative on September 22 aimed at increasing school safety and preventing  potential threats. This partnership will combine resources, personnel, and expertise to provide a safer learning environment for all. 

A 31-year-old driver from the Skillman section of Montgomery Township died after he crashed his car into the Delaware & Raritan Canal.
