Montgomery Township, NJ - Eli Kahn, the principal of E. Kahn Development Corp, is inviting Skillman residents to a neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, November 12 at the Kenvue campus, 199 Grandview Road. The meeting is scheduled for 6 pm. Kahn said the purpose is to develop a constructive dialogue with the community regarding the future development of the 380-acre site.

Township Administrator Lori Savron updated the community on top issues — WiFi service, the pending development of the Kenvue Corporate site in Skillman, management of the food pantry, and the imminent opening of a new, inclusive playground — at the Montgomery Township Committee meeting on Thursday, September 4.

Eli Khan, whose name adorns multi-family, industrial, and mixed-use commercial sites across Philadelphia’s affluent western suburbs on the Main Line, plans to present his concept to build 417 housing units on the former J&J/Kenvue site in Skillman at the Monday, September 8 Planning Board meeting.

A group known as "Montgomery Neighbors United" has raised almost $9,000 as of today to challenge Montgomery Township's plan to provide the state-mandated 260 units or credits of affordable housing.

Montgomery Township Committee and Planning Board held an Affordable Housing Town Hall Monday night at the municipal center. Mayor Neena Singh said, "New options were developed in response to public feedback. Among the new options are additional extensions on expiring deed restrictions on existing affordable units so we can further reduce the total number of new units constructed." Meanwhile, two community groups are gearing up to challenge the township's plan.

Savemontgomery.org, a group of Montgomery residents dedicated to preserving the character and tranquility of their neighborhood, is set to wage a formal legal challenge against their municipality's plan to fulfill its Round 4 state-mandated Affordable Housing requirement.
