Once again, Montgomery High School (MHS) students' SAT scores rank in the top five general admission public high schools in New Jersey, according to the latest School Performance Reports released by the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE).

Montgomery Township continues its proactive Code Compliance initiative with rigorous enforcement efforts led by the Construction, Engineering, Zoning, and Health departments. Montgomery School Board Votes to Underfund 2025 Budget, Layoffs Begin, Board Member Abstains on Crucial Budget Vote, Wants Pre-Algebra for 5th Graders

Chief Financial Officer Michael Pitts introduced the 2025 budget and gave a presentation at the Montgomery Township Committee meeting on April 3. The 2025 budget is scheduled for adoption at the May 1 Township Committee Meeting. The municipal component of the property tax rate is increasing to $0.48. That is a 2.89% increase over last year.
