Montgomery Basketball Fan
July 21, 1958 - December 3, 2025

Stephen Molarz, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and son, died peacefully on December 3, 2025, in Belle Mead, NJ, at the age of 67 after a valiant battle with colon cancer. Born on July 21, 1958, Steve was a man whose laughter could light up any room and whose love for life was infectious.
Steve was a man who cherished the simple joys in life, especially when it involved spending time with his sons. Whether it was cheering on the sidelines for Montgomery Basketball, soaking up the sun at the beach, traveling to different stadiums, or watching his favorite sports teams on television, Steve was in his element. These moments were his favorite, surrounded by his boys, Thomas, Connor, and Stephen Jr., who carry on his legacy of laughter and love.
Family was the center of Steve's world. One of the greatest joys of his life was meeting his grandson, Chase, a little over a year ago. He is survived by his three sons, Thomas (Keri), Connor, and Stephen Jr. and his cherished grandson, Chase. He is also survived by his mother, Susan of Carteret, NJ, and his brother, Robert (Kim) of East Brunswick, NJ, and his sister, Linda Cerillo (Don) of Loveladies, NJ. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Maureen, and his father, Robert Sr.
Funeral services were held on December 9.
Steve's journey was one filled with love, laughter, and a few good bets. Though he has left us, his spirit will forever echo in the stands of every game, the waves of the ocean, and the laughter of his family and friends.
