Ice hockey goalie Ayrton Whitehouse of Montgomery Township raised more than $22.5K during the month of October in memory of his grandmother, who died of breast cancer.

“I’m making saves for my grandma,” said Whitehouse, who plays with the Princeton Junior Tigers.
The fundraiser is for hockey goalies across the nation and donations can be straight donation or pledge. Whitehouse had 469 saves in his October games, putting him in first place in the nation of the hundreds of goalies who participated in the fundraisers.
