Juliane Colorado, 43

Deeply cared for others

November 7, 1978 - May 13, 2022

Juliane "Juls" Mary (Greaux) Colorado, 43, died on May 13, with her loving family by her side after a well-fought battle with substance use disorder.

Juliane loved meeting new people through her life-long work as a superior food industry server. While battling her own disease, she cared deeply for others who shared her struggle and never hesitated to counsel and help in any way she could.

She volunteered at the Franklin Food Bank, ran the coat drive for the needy at Pizza and Pasta in Manville, and would not think twice about giving the cash in her pocket to people in need who she met on the street. While her brother David was severely ill with COVID-19, she supported and aided her friend and sister-in-law, Silvanna, before and during the birth of Hannah.

Born in Somerville to parents Robert J. Greaux and Elaine Solarek, she was a 1996 graduate of Warren Hills Regional High School Class. She resided in Manville before settling in Belle Mead, after escaping the flood in the Lost Valley section of Manville.

She is survived by her parents and her son Dylan Antonio Cascante, whom she cherished with her heart and soul. She is also survived by her brothers: David C. (Silvanna) Greaux and Robert E. Greaux.

Juliane is predeceased by her grandparents Edmund T., Sr, and Cecelia Solarek as well as her aunt Ann Marie Solarek.

Juliane will be missed by her nephew and niece, David Michael and Hannah Sunday, who is also her Godchild. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as her precious feline babies Semi and Kit.

Juliane's beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and sharp sarcastic wit will be missed by all that knew and loved her. She will forever be held tenderly in our hearts. Be at peace, sweet girl.
