Dawn Orecchio, 83, of Montgomery Township died on Friday, July 30 at Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center in Hillsborough.


She was born in Jersey City on May 1, 1938, moved to Jackson Township, then settled in Montgomery Township.


Dawn was employed as a clerk typist supervisor for the Bergen County Department of Probation for 17 years, prior to her retirement in 1986.


Dawn is survived by her son, Anthony Joseph Orecchio (Rose Ann); her daughters, Donna Faraldi (Anthony), and Janeen Conforti ( Mark); her grandchildren and their spouses, Anthony Joseph Orecchio, Michael John Orecchio, Andrew John Faraldi, Matthew Fanelle Conforti, Samantha Marie Conforti, Gina Marie Bradish, and Robert Thomas Orecchio; her great-grandchildren, Joseph and Emily Orecchio, Bernard, Giovanna and Margaret Orecchio, Rachel and Timothy Bradish, Adriana and Lucina Conforti, Sophia Faraldi, and, on the way, Riley Orecchio.


She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Marie Naimo; by her sisters, Phyllis Quercia, Marion Colangelo, and her twin Diane Salotti; her brother, Benedict Naimo; her mother and father-in-law, Anthony and Rosalie Orecchio; and by her husband, Joseph Orecchio in 2007.


Dawn was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp.
