Montgomery first responders reported to Major Car Wash at 1011 Route 206, across from Princeton Airport, for the unusual crash. Police officers determined that Georgiana Bangura, 42, of Somerset, was positioning her 2020 Lexus to enter the conveyor belt for the car wash, when she pressed her gas pedal instead of the brake. Her Lexus accelerated, and impacted the rear of a 2012 Toyota Tundra, occupied by Ryan Sarria, 34, of Somerset. The force of the impact caused the pickup truck to strike the rear of a 2014 Toyota Camry, which was occupied by Sean Synakowski, 31, of Princeton.

Sarria and Synakowski were treated by Montgomery EMS for complaints of neck pain and released. Bangura was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerset by ambulance for a complaint of chest pain.
