Van Harlingen Historical Society Presents: Bring on the Revolution, the Story of Middlebrook at Somerset County Library Systems' library branch in Montgomery Township, NJ, on September 17, 2026.

Montgomery Township Committee congratulated two Montgomery, NJ, school district students at their August 6 meeting at town hall for winning the 2026 America's Field Trip Contest in two categories. Fifth-grader Dhruv Srikanth earned first place in the artwork category and his brother, Veer Srikanth (a ninth-grader at Montgomery High School), earned first place in the essay category. The contest is part of the America 250th celebration initiative.

Rocky Hill, a small borough with about 250 households and population of around 700ish people, celebrated Independence Day on July 4th in its usual way — a parade.
