John T. Petriello Jr., 65, of Skillman died peacefully on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born and raised in Scranton, PA. John resided in Mendham, NJ for 25 years prior to moving to Princeton in 2021. John worked as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch for 30 years.
John is the eldest of three children of John and Mary Petriello, and he is survived by his loving wife Joanne Petriello of 38 years, daughter Marissa Westlake (Zachary), son John Petriello (Samantha), son James Petriello (Emily), three grandchildren William, Alexander, and Olivia Westlake. He is also survived by his sister Sharon Meier (Thomas), brother Paul Petriello (Rebecca), and three sisters-in-laws Barbara Plotnick (Rick), Elizabeth Gallaher (Michael), and Lisa Sinacori (Greg), and cousin Ann Marie.
He had a passion for sports such as golf, tennis, paddle tennis, skiing and enjoyed coaching youth sports. He especially loved vacations with family and friends at the Jersey shore.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 216 Nassau Street Princeton, NJ.
