Montgomery police are looking for a dark colored SUV with New Jersey license plates that struck and injured a Skillman resident in broad daylight on Monday, June 14.
After striking the pedestrian on Sunset Road, near Dorland Farm Court, at about 12 noon, the driver of the SUV fled from the scene of the accident.
Police and EMS Squad 47 arrived on the scene at 12:39 pm. Police described the injured pedestrian as a 41-year-old Skillman woman who was out walking in an eastern direction on the east-bound lane of Sunset Road. EMS transported her to Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center, where she was treated for a left arm injury.

The pedestrian and a witness who stopped to offer help describe the fleeing vehicle as a dark colored SUV with a NJ plate. Montgomery police request assistance in identifying the vehicle. Any witnesses are asked to contact Traffic Bureau Officer Tim Giaccone at 908.533.9197.
