Allegra Celebrates 27 Years with Grand Opening in Historic Harlingen School Building

The Allegra School of Music and Arts is proud to celebrate 27 years of arts education with a grand opening celebration at its new home in Belle Mead — located in the historic original Harlingen School building, a cornerstone of the Montgomery community.

Harlingen School was built circa 1920 on Route 206 and West Dutchtown-Harlingen Road in Montgomery Township. Thanks to The Allegra School for Music and the Arts, the building has returned to its initial roots as an education institution.

By reintroducing music, theater, and arts education into this beloved space, The Allegra School of Music and Arts brings the community full circle — honoring a long-standing legacy of learning, creativity, and connection.

This celebration offers a unique opportunity to step into a space where history and creativity meet, inspire, and come to life.

Families are invited to join for a lively, welcoming afternoon featuring: Live performances from Allegra students and teachers; Interactive music and voice experiences for all ages; Theater and musical showcases throughout the event; and an opportunity to explore the newly renovated space. Refreshments and snacks will be served.
