Peter Michael Ryan, 64, died at home in Phoenix, AZ, in June. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and he grew up in Belle Mead, NJ. He graduated from St. Paul’s Elementary School in Princeton and Notre Dame High School in Lawrence Township, and he earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Vermont.
He built his successful career in IT working for firms including American Express, Cisco, and Freeport McMoRan. Peter made Phoenix his home in the late 1990s and he retired in 2024.
Peter was a talented and enthusiastic athlete in his youth and continued skiing throughout his adult life. He was a devout Catholic, intensely proud of his family and his Irish heritage, and he kept lifelong friends.
Peter is survived by his siblings Patricia and John; he was predeceased by his parents William and Mary, and his siblings William, James, and Joseph. Peter is also survived by his nephew Michael, and many beloved cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was be held on Wednesday, July 15, 10 am, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Princeton.

A memorial event in Phoenix is being planned.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which provides mortgage-free homes to the families of our nation's fallen heroes.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.
