It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kim Borredon of Monmouth Junction, NJ who left us far too soon on June 18, 2025, at the age of 55.
Kim was a loving and spirited woman whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a woman of resilience, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
For decades, Kim was the owner and heart of Alfonso’s Pizzeria, turning it into a second home for many in Montgomery. Her warmth, dedication, and presence left a lasting impact on the community she cared for so deeply.
Kim was known for her incredible ability to make others feel loved and seen. She never forgot a birthday, always found the right words when they were needed most, and filled every room she entered with laughter and light. Her sense of humor, nurturing heart, and endless capacity for compassion made her not only a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and friend — but also a source of strength and comfort to so many.
Above all else, Kim was a devoted mother. Her children were the greatest joys of her life, and she poured her heart into raising them with love, wisdom, and courage. Her legacy lives on in their strength, kindness, and the beautiful memories they will forever carry.
Kim is survived by her loving husband Alessandro; her cherished daughters, Gabriella and Francesca; her devoted father, George Currie; her sister, Stacy Schuddeboom; her brother-in-law, Andrew Schuddeboom and nieces, Mia and Madelyn and many beloved family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Donna Currie.
Visitation service will be held on Tuesday, June 24, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at M.J. Murphy Funeral Home (616 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 25 at 10:00am at St. Cecilia’s Roman Catholic Church (10 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction, NJ).
Kim’s passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be missed beyond measure.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering at https://giving.mskcc.org.
