Behold a Field of Flags on Display at Montgomery High School

The Rotary Club of Montgomery/Rocky Hill invites the community to visit the Flags for Heroes display, featuring 250 full-size flags, in front of Montgomery High School (MHS), 1016 Rt. 601, Skillman, from December 5 to 15. Each flag honors someone’s hero ... including veterans, teachers, parents, and others.

Community members may walk among the flags, read the medallions displayed on each flag, and discover who is being honored and why. Visitors are encouraged to take a moment to think about their own heroes.

The flags will also serve as a spectacular welcome to the Wreaths Across America convoy when it arrives at MHS on December 12.

When visiting:

• Please park in the Montgomery High School parking lot. Do not park along Route 601.

• Flags are arranged first by group dedications, then alphabetically by honorees name. There is a directory of flags/honorees at the site.

All proceeds go to support Warrior Canine Connection. Warrior Canine Connection enlists recovering Warriors in a therapeutic mission of learning to train service dogs for their fellow Veterans.

The “Flags for Heroes” display is organized by The Rotary Club of Montgomery/Rocky Hill.
